A mountain does not ask for its power, it simple stands strong in it.
How does one just stand in there power?
When it comes to living a more intuitive and spiritual life, being extremely energetic and living in the world that we are in, it means having to balance our inner world with our external world. Of course what is most important is that the inner world is, as best as possible, peaceful first. Usually in doing the inner work, the outer world without too much work should balance itself out. As lovely as it would be to be a monk in a cave and not have to interact with others outside, is not the world we live in. Which in the past to find enlightenment, spiritual/emotional/mental truths, was the way we did it. It is no longer really practical for the mass consciousness nowadays.
Taking your power back when it comes to your path means looking first at the root of where you first lost it within this life. Inner work. When we come into the world as an infant we are pure innocent beings, our truest soul I would say. And then life happens, molding us to be able to survive in the world. Our environment, family, friends, life experiences, upbringing all affect us and we learn how to live in this world. We at times give our powers to others because it became easier, or a learned behavior, to survive or deal with the external world. You, whether consciously or subconsciously, ended up giving your power away. The truth of the matter, you are the only person who can give your power away to others. Though luckily you can work to take it back. Therapy, meditation, Reiki, diving into the psyche and how it works, amongst self study becomes very important in uncovering deep truths to how to retrieve it. Setting healthy boundaries with all the individuals who took it is a big step. Which can be done with the physical person or within the psych if you are unable to inperson.
Now we are all mirrors to each other, especially to the ones we love. Family, friends, and romance. So they are the best gauge of where we are at in our healing/growth journey. As mentioned, interacting with others and not living the isolated monk life is where our work as a whole lies. To aid in this instead of icing people out, let us first start asking why am I icing people out? Do I need to ice this person because they are truly harming me, or is it fear? Where does this fear come from etc. Once you've gone ahead and figured out the inner why. Which on a tangible term feels like an aha moment, or has an emotional response (crying, especially for the feminine energy) we are clearing away patterns to better understand oneself, and whether we still want to engage in said lesson.
I understand this is not the most direct answer to our question to how one stands in their power. Though I feel like it is the beginning of one diving into the inner work that is being called forward.
No one person outside of you has the answers to your life, including myself. This is your life and you get to choose how to live it, and that alone is taking the power back in your life. Making choices for yourself, listening to your inner guidance, and what feels right from the heart. Be led by your heart, if you feel something... good! It means you are truly living the human experience.
Take your power back, stop giving it away to others. You are able to make the best decisions, actions, choices for yourself. Be curious on your journey self empowerment, that alone will start shifting energy and opportunities around you.
With love nā light,
Emma
